Isabel de la Torre, founder and principal art consultant of The Antiques Net has a broad international experience in art consulting. She is a graduate from Harvard and New York University with a major in anthropology and museum studies. She participated in seminars and courses related to the administration and conservation of art and antiques at Sotheby's, the National Design Museum and the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.Her experience includes working for the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum and serving as art curator for institutions and private clients by advising on art acquisitions and collection management. She is an art and antiques dealer and appraiser.
